This week we've taken the opportunity to create our own Cupcake surprise week and donate some bought and baked cakes as a way of showing our love to our Communities and help bring a lot of smiles during a difficult time.
Lots of love and care has gone into the making of these gorgeous looking cakes.
Well done everyone and we hope everyone enjoyed eating them :)
We've had an overwhelming response of people in our Mutual Aid Group who wanted to take part and give something back and it has been wonderful seeing everyone come together and go to such great efforts in order to make others feel special and loved.
Thank you to Precious Shad; David and his work team; Hannah; Wardeh and daughter; Edwin and friends; Muna and daughter; Jenna and Alex who between everyone donated over 300 bought and baked cakes.
Thank you to all the phone, food packing and delivery volunteers who helped make this happen and thank you to Heather and Zaman who jumped in and offered their help last minute to collect and distribute the cakes.
This week we donated cakes to Ardwick and Longsight Foodbank, Brunswick Church and Qadria Jalania Longsight Mosque. Some cakes were provided with food parcels via ARMR Store to multiple families and local residents we took requests from. Many more were distributed around the community and to our Volunteers. We also presented some to the amazing NHS staff at Brunswick Valance Centre as a thank you for all that they're doing.
